Welcome to Perth Road Runners!
We are known as the friendly running club and we have proudly brought runners together in Perth for over 25 years. Our philosophy is to inspire and be inspired so all we ask is that you have a pair of running shoes and a sense of humour. We will take care of the rest.
We meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6.30pm. On Tuesdays we meet at Bell’s Sports Centre (in the foyer) while on Thursdays, we have organised coaching sessions alternately at the George Duncan Athletics Arena for speed sessions or around the Kinnoull Hill area for hill reps. The details for Thursday nights are on the Events Calendar to the right of this post.
We have a broad range of ages and abilities in our club. At our Tuesday sessions, we have a Meet & Greet set up where one of our members will welcome you and run with you, introducing you to some of our members who would likely be running at the same pace as you. We tend to run for around 1 hour at our sessions and so the pace range can be anything from 4-5 miles up to, and more than, 10 miles.
Joining the club is easy. All you need to do is complete the Application form and bring it along to your next training session along with £15 Membership Fee. We highly recommend our members join Scottish Athletics and save money on race entry fees.
Before you take that step, we would like to invite you to one of our Tuesday sessions and meet us all. These sessions are free and the only additional payments are the £2.30 fee for the use of the GDAA.
We look forward to running with you!

Our very own Heaven and Hell Half Marathon due to take place on Sunday 28th April at 11am. We are looking for volunteers to step forward and offer to help support the club. Feedback from previous years has been very encouraging and one comment stated that we were “the best marshalls ever!” Hopefully we can have the same impact this year!
Please send an email to nicola.crowe@virgin.net if you are able to help out on the day and feel free to bring along any partners, family etc that may be able to help as well.
As from January 27th we have a new Sunday Training Session. If interested please meet at Bells Sport Centre on Sunday Mornings at 9.00am.
The Presentation Dinner will be held this year on Saturday 9th February, 7 for 7:30pm at the Lovat Hotel.
Ticket price is £20 per head – this is subsidised by the Club. The Club will also be providing wine for the tables.
The Guest Speaker this year is Dr Andrew Murray – http://docandrewmurray.com/ – who promises to be a very interesting and worthwhile speaker.
Tickets are available from the Club Treasurer Allison Brown.
